Overview
For the Oakbrook location of True Food Kitchen, I developed a series of custom, hand-crafted installations that bring the brand’s core philosophy of seasonal, ingredient-driven living into a tactile, visual experience. Rooted in the idea of celebrating food in its most natural and expressive form, each piece was designed to feel both artful and organic—blurring the line between environment and storytelling.
A large-scale, hand-drawn squash blossom mural anchors the space, introducing a sense of movement and growth, while custom signage integrates seamlessly into the overall aesthetic. A sculptural focal piece—built on a metal base and composed of individually placed lentils and beans, layered with moss and natural wood slices—adds depth and texture, reinforcing the connection to raw ingredients. An interactive agamograph installation shifts between vibrant carrots and the message “Eat More Color,” creating a playful, memorable moment that evolves as guests move through the space.
Together, these elements transform the environment into an immersive reflection of the brand—where art, nutrition, and experience come together to inspire a deeper connection to food and well-being.
