For the Tucson location of True Food Kitchen, I was commissioned to design a Private Dining Room dedicated to Dr. Andrew Weil—a space that honors his life’s work while grounding the experience in the spirit of place. The goal was to create something deeply personal and reflective, where story, environment, and brand could come together in a meaningful way.
The room was conceived as an intimate narrative featuring hand-painted pieces, collected objects, maps, imagery, and artifacts. Each were thoughtfully curated to reflect both Dr. Weil’s journey and the cultural landscape of Tucson and the greater Arizona region. The result is a space that feels lived-in and authentic.
Custom signage and collateral extend the experience beyond the room itself, ensuring a cohesive visual language that aligns with the broader brand while allowing this space to feel distinct and reverent.
The outcome is one that celebrates a legacy while creating a sense of connection, place, and presence. The space deeply moved Dr. Weil, reinforcing the power of thoughtful design to tell stories that matter.

Thousands of beans, live moss and natural wood slices were hand-glued to create this beautiful 'Tree of Life' art installation.
