Overview
Brand direction and messaging were developed for The Streets of Brentwood, an open-air retail and entertainment destination undergoing a thoughtful transformation into a more walkable, nature-forward, and community-centered environment. The scope included identity design, logo development, signage systems, mural concepts, typography, pattern language, color palette, and exterior paint direction—establishing a cohesive visual and verbal foundation for the next phase of the property. As a “coming soon” project, the work focuses on shaping the vision while maintaining flexibility for future reveal.

Brand Story
The Streets of Brentwood is a reflection of its community—warm, welcoming, and full of life. Designed to feel less like a mall and more like a neighborhood, it invites people to return again and again, not just for what they need, but for how it makes them feel.
Here, kids play freely, neighbors meet over coffee, and evenings unfold under soft light and open skies. Nature is not an afterthought, but an integral part of the experience—woven through every path, plaza, and pause.
It’s a place defined not by urgency, but by presence. Not by transactions, but by connection.

Identity & Visual Language
The identity system was designed to feel approachable, grounded, and quietly vibrant—balancing refinement with ease. A flexible logo system allows for adaptability across signage and environments, while maintaining a consistent sense of place.
Typography pairs clean, modern forms with softer, more expressive elements to reflect both clarity and warmth. A natural, sun-washed color palette draws from California landscapes—greens, warm neutrals, and softened tones that complement the architecture and surrounding environment.
Pattern and graphic elements subtly echo movement, pathways, and organic forms—reinforcing the idea of flow, walkability, and connection throughout the space.
Experience & Environment
The visual system extends beyond branding into the physical experience of the property. Signage was approached as both functional and atmospheric—guiding visitors while contributing to a cohesive, elevated environment.
Mural concepts and environmental graphics introduce moments of discovery and delight, adding layers of storytelling throughout the space. Exterior paint direction was developed to unify the architecture while enhancing warmth and approachability, ensuring the environment feels curated yet effortless.
