Overview
What started as a simple ask — “we want to create a fun concept with duckpin bowling, sushi, fried chicken, champagne, a DJ, and an Asian flare” — became a fully realized, transportive brand world.
Châm Pang Lanes was created from the ground up: name, identity, interiors, exteriors, artwork, and every tactile detail in between. The result is an eclectic destination where guests step into a slightly surreal version of the good life — equal parts playful, elevated, and unapologetically fun.

Concept & Naming
Châm Pang Lanes was born from a simple directive — make it fun — and evolved into a layered, transportive concept that blends cultures, eras, and experiences.
The name sets the tone. “Châm Pang” carries an Asian-inspired rhythm while subtly nodding to champagne — a core part of the experience — and “Lanes” grounds the concept in duckpin bowling as its social centerpiece.
The result is a playful collision: Asian influence meets Palm Springs ease, high-energy nightlife meets laid-back indulgence. From the beginning, the goal was to create a place where contrast feels intentional — where guests can sip champagne, eat fried chicken, and bowl under neon without questioning it.

Illustration & Art Direction
The visual language of Châm Pang Lanes is bold, layered, and unapologetically expressive — designed to feel collected, not decorated.
Rooted in cinematic symmetry and playful irreverence, the art direction blends mid-century Palm Springs with Asian motifs and ornamental detail, creating a world that feels both curated and unexpected.
Custom artwork is embedded throughout the experience:
- Tiger wallpaper and a life-size cherry blossom tiger mural
- A hand-drawn dragon translated into neon (Omaha location)
- Peacock champagne bottle installations with neon accents
- Seven original character paintings adding personality and narrative
- Custom mirrors, patterns, and layered textures
The exterior carries the story outward with a custom mural, signage, and a fully designed entry moment — down to the door and handle.
Every piece was created specifically for the space, reinforcing a world that feels immersive, transportive, and entirely its own.

Duckpin bowling anchors the space as a social catalyst, while champagne, sushi, and fried chicken set the tone for indulgence without rules. A DJ-driven soundtrack carries the energy from early evening into late night, creating a seamless transition from cocktail hour to celebration.
